As a community leader in Volusia County, the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce is honored to bring an exciting program to the community:  The West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce First Responders Valor Awards.  Through this program, we honor the brave women and men of our Police, EMS, and Fire Departments, Linemen, and Sheriff’s Office, who showed exceptional poise and courage in extraordinary circumstances the previous year. Nominated by their peers, we look forward to applauding the selfless acts our public safety personnel undertake to keep our community safe at our luncheon. This past year, our First Responders faced an unprecedented time during the pandemic and risked their lives daily.

We are proud to partner with Halifax Health, as a presenting sponsor. Rick Stacy of the Rick Stacy Morning Show will be our emcee for the event and we are excited to have many community leaders join us as well.

2019 Valor Awards – Valor Awards in the News!

Deltona TV will be streaming the Ceremony on social media and on their network.

The Chamber is committed to ensuring the success and growth of our community.  We recognize that a main contributing factor to a healthy business community is a safe and secure environment in which to conduct business. This is due to the efforts of our public safety personnel who work day and night protecting our community. This event will be our way of expressing our gratitude for all they do in West Volusia.  A portion of our net proceeds will be given to a local public safety cause selected by the departments.

We hope you will partner with us and demonstrate your appreciation for the sacrifice and valor these men and women demonstrate daily. Attached is a partnership form detailing the different partnership levels and benefits available at each level. The form is a starting point, and if you have any ideas for sponsor benefits that are not listed, please let us know. As a founding sponsor, your business will be associated with this program and recognized at the luncheon event on May 20, 2020,  which will include our elected officials, the department heads, business leaders, and of course, the men and women we are honoring this year, along with their co-workers.

Please let us know if you have any questions about the program or the Chamber. We look forward to working with you as we honor our valuable public safety departments.
