As the City of Lake Helen does not have a separate Lake Helen Chamber of Commerce, it’s business interests are served by the West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce. Lake Helen businesses are an integral part of our networking events, and we work closely with the City of Lake Helen elected officials and staff to ensure “the Gem” of Florida is represented in all our activities.

About Lake Helen, Florida
The City of Lake Helen, known as “The Gem of Florida,” is located in west Volusia County immediately off of Interstate 4 (in between Orlando and Daytona Beach). The city is under 5 square miles and with a population under 3,000.
Founded by Henry DeLand and named after his daughter, the City was intended as one of the prettiest and most pleasant towns in Florida. Lake Helen preserves a small-town character, with historic architectures, tree lined roads and lush vegetation.
Lake Helen’s old Florida rural town feel along with its proximity to Interstate 4 makes it the perfect location – within minutes you can have access to head into Orlando or East to the beaches.
Lake Helen Chamber of Commerce
The WVRC continues to thrive on the countless volunteer hours that many of our determined and focused community business leaders devote in the spirit of building relationships and nurturing loyalty within our local economy.
These same volunteers, through hard work and perseverance, have created and produced a multitude of events that occur throughout the year. Our Signature Events, such as the Valor Awards, Charity Ride, and Business Awards, have become well known and greatly anticipated.
